From a festival of ideas to a UK-first animatronic dinosaur trail, the LeedsBID team has been going the extra mile to put our city on the map.
The aim of LeedsBID is quite simple: to make things better for people who live, work and visit Leeds city centre. Through unique and innovative projects, from giant animatronic dinosaurs roaming the streets to free holiday activities, the team are also boosting the economic benefits for local businesses by encouraging visitors and promoting what the centre has to offer.
It’s been running for three years, bringing world-leading thinkers and speakers from Steven Bartlett, Davina McCall and Ruby Wax to Bimini, Prue Leith and Christopher Eccleston; this year’s festival in September saw 39 speakers over four days joined by an audience of 5,500 people at Leeds Playhouse.
