Booker, a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, also called for an investigation into Ginni Thomas’ role in the Jan. 6 insurrection by supporters of Donald Trump.that Ginni Thomas exchanged texts with then-White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, encouraging efforts to overturn the election. “Clearly, Justice Thomas should have recused himself,” Booker said. “That’s not even at question here.”
