Police said they are 'keeping an open mind' after the discovery on Cove Road Beach in Silverdale
The bones were uncovered in the water on Cove Road Beach in Silverdale on Easter Sunday , Lancs Live reports. Police were called to the scene following the discovery.
In a statement, a force spokesperson said: "At 4.10pm on March 31 we were called to Cove Road Beach, Silverdale, to reports bones had been found in the water. Our initial enquiries have confirmed that some of the remains are human.
