Stuart Brown, 76, vanished from Tarbert on Thursday, September 28.
A body has been found in the search for a Scots pensioner who had been reported missing over two weeks ago.
An extensive search was launched in an effort to find Stuart with Mountain Rescue teams joining the search parties. Police say that formal identification is yet to take place but Mr Brown's family has been made aware. There are no apparent suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
