The Puerto Rico Institute of Forensic Sciences said a family member was able to identify the body found as that of Amanda Webster.The Puerto Rico Institute of Forensic Sciences confirmed to 13News on Oct. 19 that an authorized relative of Amanda Webster traveled to Naguabo, Puerto Rico. The relative believes the body recovered is that of Webster's.
According to the Institute, information needed to located Webster's dental records, a DNA sample from the family member and data on Webster's weapons license were taken as part of the investigation to definitively corroborate the identity of the body. Webster was an art teacher at Franklin Township Community School Corporation in Indianapolis.

It is some distance from the place where she was staying, but authorities could not say what time Webster left.
Police were alerted to the disappearance by the landlord of the Airbnb home where Webster was staying after finding her bags and rental car at the home after she was supposed to have left. Webster's friends said Webster landed in Puerto Rico on Oct. 9 and would send photos and videos of herself on vacation to them.
