Police continue looking for a man caught on surveillance video who may be connected to 22-year-old Monica Alcantar's death as her family searches for answers.
The Houston Police Department identified missing 22-year-old Monica Alcantar as the body found decomposing in a Bellaire parking garage.A badly decomposed body found in a parking garage at a busy west Houston shopping center has been identified as a woman who has been missing for two weeks.
Alcantar's family reported her missing to Houston police on Aug. 30, and on Tuesday afternoon, the search was over.On Sunday, Alcantar's body was found in the driver's seat of her car in a parking garage at the Dun Huang Plaza on Bellaire near the West Beltway, according to the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
Police released surveillance images of a man and his car, a Dodge Challenger. The images are from the same parking garage where Alcantar was found.
