Robert L. Waltrip, philanthropist and founder of Houston-based Service Corporation International, has died at 92.
In 1962, continuing to expand the business, he founded Service Corporation International, which is now the largest provider of funeral services in North America, and more than 120 cemeteries and funeral homes in Texas.
