BREAKING: Disney announces shocking CEO switch
The Douglass Society founder and president Rob Smith discusses if corporations are starting to move away from far-left agendas on 'Varney & Co.'
The company's board announced the return of Iger Sunday night and said Bob Chapek is out as CEO, effective immediately. Iger had handed control of Disney over to Chapek in February 2020 and served as executive chairman until the end of 2021. Iger, who led Disney from 2005 to 2015, will serve as company CEO for a second time for the next two years.
"We thank Bob Chapek for his service to Disney over his long career, including navigating the company through the unprecedented challenges of the pandemic," Arnold said.
