A good Samaritan rescued 2 after a boat exploded in the north suburbs.Two men were seriously injured Tuesday, after a boat exploded off the coast of the north suburbs, a Lake County Sheriff's Office spokesman said.
They were taken to Vista East Medical Center in serious condition, after suffering burns and smoke inhalation, Waukegan fire officials said.Navy exonerates 256 Black sailors unjustly court-martialed in WWII-era Port Chicago explosion The U.S. Coast Guard of the Great Lakes said there was no known pollution associated with the explosion and fire.
