Blind man's white walking cane broken in alleged assault at Metrolink tram station
A visually-impaired man's white walking cane was broken as he was allegedly attacked at a Metrolink tram station, police chiefs have revealed.
The man suffered injuries, although the extent of them haven't been revealed, and the force said his white walking aid was broken in the alleged assault. His age hasn't been revealed. GMP have shared an appeal on its social media channels and urged anyone with information, or anyone who recognises the man pictured, to come forward. The force's transport unit is investigating.
