An asset transfer request has been made to South Lanarkshire Council by Blantyre Soccer Academy, who wish to purchase Larkfield Neighbourhood Hall and the adjacent football pitch on Broompark and Stonefield Road.

The Larkfield hall and the adjacent site are currently unused by the council, and the local community and the soccer academy has plans to create a location for local residents. “We will renew the Larkfield hall physically and the community psychologically by the quality of restoration, renewal, and repair.”
