A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a 16-year old boy was shot and left in a critical condition.
The 17-year-old suspect was arrested at an address in Birmingham earlier after the shooting in Lighthorne Avenue, in Ladywood, Birmingham on Sunday.Officers are continuing to investigate the shooting. "Although we've made an arrest, we are still in the early stages of our investigation and will take action against anyone who was involved," a force spokesperson said.
"We are trawling CCTV and neighbourhood officers are in the area to offer reassurance and to be a point of contact for anybody with concerns."
