Fort Worth bar and venue Billy Bob's Texas will reopen for concerts next week, starting Aug. 14.
Upcoming concerts will be limited to 1,200 tickets with the establishment suggesting the capacity could change following the first week of shows. The audience will be made up of 1,000 socially distanced reserved seats and 200 socially-distanced general admission tickets. Without social distancing or COVID safety measures, Billy Bob's Texas can normally accommodate up to 6,000 guests. All tickets will go on sale this Friday, Aug. 7.
In order to keep everyone safe, Billy Bob's intends to follow Centers for Disease Control guidelines, as well as city and state safety mandates. All patrons will be required to wear a mask unless they are seated at their table, where mask wearing will be recommended. All client-facing staff will wear gloves and masks and all employees will be temperature checked at the start of their shifts. Performers and their crews will also be subject to temperature checks.
