Digital transformation success hinges as much on developing people as deploying technology. Three meaningful leadership actions can help.

As digital transformation has topped corporate agendas in recent years, a majority of executives expressed high confidence in their firms' ability to capitalize on IT investments, according to a new survey.

But despite the systems upgrades, companies are struggling to optimize utilization. When asked to name the “challenges to new technology adoptions” executives’ top responses were: capable talent needs, high recruiting costs and skills deficits.over 2,200 executives and found that digital transformation adopters are quickly separating themselves into leaders and laggards. To date, only 7% reported profitability or performance improvements of 11% or better.
