Big Brother is back with its most diverse line-up ever.
Big Brother is back with its most diverse line-up ever It’s only five years ago Big Brother felt like it was dead in the water. Ratings had fallen off a cliff, even by Channel 5 standards. Line-ups were packed with vacuous influencers who I personally had never seen walk past me on the street, certainly not reflective of the UK I knew, and after being at the centre of some of the most ground-breaking moments in television, Big Brother simply wasn’t important anymore.
The Big Brother launch definitely felt like a softer incarnation of the Big Brother we’ve known before – and rightly so, I don’t want to see ‘fight night’ again or anyone disgracing themselves after drinking more alcohol than should be legal on national television – but it wasn’t shy of stand-out moments.
