Following her emergency hospitalisation earlier this month, Big Brother's Lateysha Grace has revealed to her social media fanbase the cause of her painful suffering
The 30-year-old, who began her TV career in MTV series The Valleys, was rushed to hospital for life-saving surgery just over a week ago, and now we finally know what was happening to her.
"I was shocked and surprised but so happy to add to my family, unfortunately I thought I had lost the baby a couple weeks after but in fact I hadn't. I woke up one morning with the most awful pain in my stomach and collapsed on my bathroom floor, I got rushed to hospital to find out I hadn't lost my baby it was in fact growing in the wrong place and was an ectopic pregnancy.
An ectopic pregnancy occurs when a fertilised egg implants itself outside of the womb, more often than not in one of the fallopian tubes, which operate as the connection between the ovaries and the womb. Having read about Lateysha's harrowing experience, those particular followers who could relate to it were quick to reply with messages of support.
