The escalation of Iranian backed terror groups in the Middle East is raising concerns that Israel's war against Hamas can grow into a global conflict.
isisFILE - Three U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers wait to begin their deployment ceremony March 7, 2017, in East Point, Ga. The escalation of Iranian backed terror groups in the Middle East is raising concerns that Israel's war against Hamas can grow into a much larger global conflict. This comes as the U.S. is spending billions of taxpayer dollars for Israel and Ukraine as we face our own crisis and keeping our military strong.
Sharyl Attkisson examines that topic on this week’s Full Measure and joined The National Desk’s Jan Jeffcoat Friday morning to give a preview. “It’s been 50 years this year since we ended the draft and began operating the all volunteer military, and every year since then, the Armed Forces haven't had any trouble meeting their recruiting goals until now,” she said. “This Sunday on Full Measure, we're going to explore a full blown crisis and military recruiting here in the United States. We'll look at why young people today don't seem to want to join and what the Pentagon is doing to try to change that.
In Sunday’s Full Measure cover story, Attkisson will be discussing U.S. aid to Israel and Ukraine and the military recruiting crisis. You can catch these reports on a new episode of Full Measure with Sheryl Attkisson this Sunday. Check your local listings for the time, channel and more information.
