The Biden administration is planning to announce nominees for positions on the Federal Reserve"soon," White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Monday.
"Certainly that is something that we're looking to get done soon and hopefully before the president and everyone leaves for time with their families over the holidays," Psaki told reporters at a briefing. Biden has three more candidates to nominate, including a banking regulator, after announcing the re-nomination of Chairman Jerome Powell and elevating Lael Brainard to vice chair.
