Bethenny Frankel announced she is taking a break from her divorce podcast to grieve her mother's death.
She announced that her mother — with whom she had a complicated relationship and was previously estranged for over a decade — passed away at age 73 last Friday following a battle with lung cancer. 'I have chosen to temporarily remove my divorce podcast as a result of an overwhelming response and an influx of messages that have converged with the most significant loss of my life,' she wrote over a plain background on her Instagram Story.'The unforeseen circumstances and the reaction to this triggering topic has confirmed how important this conversation is,' she continued.
In a follow-up post, she clarified that the 'influx of messages' were not related to any pushback as 'there has been no backlash.' 'It's impossible for me to grieve and process both of these traumatic events at the same time,' she shared following the recent loss of her mother
