It's been a big week for pop music as listeners gear up to enjoy the Lady Gaga's long-anticipatedbut her streak of intriguing collabs isn't the only thing to enjoy. Below, check out this week's selection of best new music.Lady Gaga gifted us two killer collabs in about a week: first, “Rain on Me,” featuring Ariana Grande. And now, just before releasing her new album Chromatica, a partnership with K-pop stars BLACKPINK that is a pop power matchup for the ages.
But she takes a subtler approach here with her first song written entirely in French, “Blasphémie.” The mellow ballad has a sweet psychedelic feel to go along with its sadness, and no matter what language she's singing in, she's still pulling out some uncomfortable truths. “Essentially this song is about taking something beautiful and ruining it,” she said in an official statement, "and knowing you ruined it, but there is nothing you can do.
