The 21-year-old has enjoyed an impressive season with Waterford FC

Barry Baggley joined Waterford on loan from Fleetwood Town back in January and has enjoyed a stellar campaign with the Blues.

He went on to score two goals in 30 appearances as Waterford went on to finish second in the First Division, 25 points behind runaway champions Galway United. The season isn't finished yet, however, with Waterford preparing for a play-off semi-final against Athlone Town. The first leg takes place on Tuesday night, with the return leg on Saturday.

Baggely will be hoping to finish the season on a high, following a hugely impressive year in the League of Ireland. The fans' group hailed the Belfast man's displays, saying: "The winner of the BSC player of the month for June/July was Barry Baggley as voted for by our members. Barry has been very consistent with his performances during the summer months so this award is well deserved.

"We wish Barry a speedy recovery from his injury he picked up on Friday last and we all hope to see him back on the pitch very soon again once again."During his time in England he also had a brief loan spell with Altrincham, and has earned international honours with Northern Ireland Under 17, 19 and 21s.
