A Northwest Side Mexican restaurant flunked a recent health inspection, earning them one of the lowest scores in recent memory.
Taqueria Jalisco #15, located in the 5500 block of Babcock Road, got a failing 59 on their health inspection in late September.
An employee making tortillas wasn’t wearing gloves and another worker wiped his hands on a dirty towel and continued to work.One employee said they were pretty ashamed of their performance but they were striving to make improvements. It did appear they were making an effort to keep the dining area clean for customers and the employee said they’d also addressed the use of gloves.
