Online furniture retailer Overstock.com purchased Bed Bath & Beyond's intellectual property, loyalty program, website and mobile app to relaunch the brand under bedbathandbeyond.com
Through the transition process, Overstock relaunched the Bed Bath & Beyond website in Canada under the domain
. After that is complete, Overstock will refresh the website, mobile app and loyalty program in the U.S.loyalty program as Welcome Rewards, which will still provide 5% reward dollars on all purchases that members can redeem on future transactions.said in a statement . “Bed Bath & Beyond is an iconic consumer brand, well-known in the home retail marketplace. The combination of our winning asset-light business model and the high awareness and loyalty of the Bed Bath & Beyond brand will improve the customer experience and position the Company for accelerated market share growth.”
The transaction did not include Bed Bath & Beyond’s brick-and-mortar stores or buybuy Baby and Harmon stores,
