Created by King of the Hill and Silicon Valley showrunner Mike Judge , Beavis and Butt-Head debuted on Liquid Television back in 1992.
23 "Huh-Huh Humbug"/"It’s A Miserable Life" Parodying Christmas classics like It’s A Wonderful Life and A Christmas Carol, this two-part episode finds Beavis and Butt-Head dreaming about a reality where they were never born. While Beavis encounters the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future, Butt-Head is visited by a guardian angel.
19 "Prank Call" Some of the highest-rated Beavis and Butt-Head episodes are simply centered on the immature pranks the duo play. When they ring up a man called Harry Sachz , they put the blame on their friend Stewart. The episode reveals how much trouble the other people of Highland have to go through because of their hijinks. In this case, an angered Harry not only beats up Stewart’s father but also inserts the phone in quite an undesirable spot.
15 "Home Improvement" In Beavis and Butt-Head season 2's “Home Improvement," the titular duo finds and inadvertently gets high on paint thinner. With MTV fearing that children might mimic the uncultured behavior of Judge’s characters, the network even ran a disclaimer on not sniffing paint thinner. Tasked with painting Mr. Anderson’s house, the duo begins inhaling the contents of a paint thinner can. Naturally, none of the painting continues and poor Mr.
12 "No Laughing" Even if something isn’t that funny, Beavis and Butt-Head’s snickers and chuckles end up distracting anyone who is around them. To put an end to their senseless laughing, Principal McVicker orders the troublemakers to be on a laugh curfew for a week. While they cockily accept the challenge, it becomes a Herculean task for the protagonists to control their laughter, especially when Coach Buzzcut takes a sex education class.
9 "Scientific Stuff" The episode that started Beavis and Butt-Head’s sophomore season is important in the show’s history, as it introduces the cynical, bespectacled high-schooler Daria Morgendorffer. In "Scientific Stuff," Daria embarks on a science experiment to establish a theoretical explanation for the duo’s stupidity. It’s interesting to see Beavis and Butt-Head spending time with a teenager other than themselves.
