Amanda Abbington has sparked concern after sharing a selfie from her hospital bed alongside her former stuntman fiance Jonathan Goodwin, who was left paralysed following a horror accident.
Amanda Abbington has worried fans with a hospital picture next to her fiance Jonathan Goodwin. The Strictly Come Dancing star, 52, took a selfie with former stuntman fiance Jonathan.
According to reports, he and Amanda didn't meet up until after her marriage to actor Martin Freeman, 52, ended in 2016 and they were engaged soon after. But tragedy hit a year later as Jonathan got badly injured whilst doing a stunt on the now defunct TV show America's Got Talent: Extreme. Amanda spoke about Jonathan's strength on ITV's Lorraine, saying: "He's amazing, he makes me smile. I love him to bits, he's going from strength to strength. I forget he's in a wheelchair; he's independent and strong. He's genuinely my hero, I don't know what I'd do without him. He's so supportive and gorgeous. Wedding in summer it's happening.
It was later claimed that Amanda experienced post-traumatic stress disorder after the show and has asked the BBC to give her all the rehearsal footage.
