EastEnders viewers thought they had seen the last of Sam Mitchell, played by actress Kim Medcalf, after she said goodbye to Albert Square earlier this year in April in a black cab for a job running a hotel in Spain.
Sam will be thrown from the back of a van in front of older brother Phil, according to reports in the Mirror. She left the series earlier this year after a year-long stint on the show. Ricky apparently didn't take the news well at the time his mum was fleeing the country, as he hoped to spend time with her. Sam's final scenes saw an emotional goodbye for the mother and son, who shared a hug before she headed to the airport.
