Rock Wall Wine Company was located at a former Alameda naval air base, where Rosenblum offered a variety of wines that included zinfandel, chardonnay, sparkling wines, petite sirah and more. Rock Wall Wine Company, at 2301 Monarch St. in Alameda, is expected to close Feb. 27, 2022, after 14 years.In her message, Rosenblum shared that her goal for Rock Wall Wine Company was to create a space for learning and entertainment. She added that above all, her team wanted Rock Wall Wine Company to be known as a “premier women-led winery.”
The winery was founded in 2008 by Rosenblum and her father and winemaker, Kent Rosenblum. Rosenblum credits her father for everything she knew about wine-making as well as the ins and outs of the trade. Over the years, Rock Wall Wine Company garnered several accolades, including high scores from Wine Spectator for its zinfandel and blends.
