Ahead of the upcoming Batman: The Brave and the Bold movie, DC is bringing back the iconic comic series of the same name. Industry legends including Tom King, Dan Mora, Javier Rodríguez & Christopher Cantwell will tell stories of DC's most iconic heroes.
The newest era of DC Comics, Dawn of DC, is getting an exciting new ongoing Batman-focused anthology series with the relaunch of the classic Batman: The Brave and the Bold, ahead of James Gunn's upcoming DCU film of the same name.
DC's The Brave and the Bold first debuted as an anthology "team-up" series in 1955, featuring a variety of characters from around the DC Universe and introducing major teams such as The Suicide Squad and the Justice League of America, before becoming a Batman-focused anthology starting in 1967's The Brave and The Bold #74 and lasting until the final issue #200.

Superman & StormWatch Also Feature In New Anthology 3 Images Close Batman: The Brave and the Bold's next story - "Down with the Kings - Part 1" by writer Ed Brisson and artist Jeff Spokes - follows Brisson's short tale in the Wildstorm 30th Anniversary Special that established Director Bones of D.E.O. as the leader of a new WildStorm-based StormWatch group, based out of the Justice League's former Watchtower.
