The group did not specify when the owl had gotten stuck or when it had been rescued, but did note that it was in the group’s care for about a week. The bird became entangled in the brush portion of a sculpture titled “Typewriter Eraser, Scale X.” The owl needed treatment for soft tissue injuries incurred to its wing during its entrapment, the center explained in a subsequent post on X.
A volunteer with the group drove the bird to the Tri-State Bird Rescue in Delaware, where the owl continues to convalesce and regain the strength to fly regularly.
