Nearly 70 cannabis plants were found behind a false wall in the basement
A bar where police say £20,000-worth of cocaine was found - along with a cannabis farm in the basement - has had its licence revoked. Cops said they were acting on intelligence that drugs were openly 'sold over the bar' to punters at The Hub, Haslam Street, Bury, before they raided the building, council papers state.

The licensing hearing was told a cannabis farm with 68 plants was found behind a false wall in the basement.
He said: "Operation Golf is GMP's response targeting Organised Crime Groups based in Bury and is centred around the supply of cocaine. It is believed that drugs have been sold over the bar to patrons. "Officers then discovered 68 cannabis plants hidden behind a false wall and were drying out as part of the production process. Officers also found that the electricity at the property had been bypassed."
