The two men are suspects in the robbery of a bank in Brecksville, according to police.
BRECKSVILLE, Ohio — Two males suspected of robbing a bank Thursday morning in Brecksville ended up leading police on a chase into the West Side of Cleveland, reportedly hitting other vehicles before ending in a crash involving a patrol car.
Police say the chase started at about 11 a.m. after an off-duty Broadview Heights police officer saw the two suspects leaving a Dollar Bank on Chippewa Road after it reportedly had been robbed. The off-duty officer called in a description of the suspects’ vehicle and an Independence patrol car began chasing it north on Interstate 77 near Rockside Road.
