Bank of America posts top and bottom line beats in Q3
rose 10% to $7.8 billion, or $0.90 per share, topping the consensus of $0.83. Revenue rose 3% to $25.2B versus the consensus estimate of $25.13B.
The bank said average deposits of $980B fell 8%, but remain 36% above pre-pandemic levels. Meanwhile, the company added over 200,000 net new Consumer checking accounts in the quarter.
