Baldwin County Emergency Management Agency is encouraging residents and visitors of Baldwin County to monitor local weather and be prepared should we have direc

t impacts to our area. There is no need to panic, however, it’s always a good idea to be prepared and stay informed.“There is a tropical wave currently located near Puerto Rico that is anticipated to move west-northwestward and could develop into a tropical depression this weekend or early next week over the eastern Gulf or far southwestern Atlantic ocean. There is a near zero percent chance of tropical cyclone formation within the next 48 hours, and a 60% chance within the next 7 days.
