Last week's supposed release date leak for Baldur's Gate 3 on Xbox Series X|S has been shut down by Larian Studios, confirming that 'the plan is still before the end of the year.'
Following Larian Studios CEO Swen Vincke's confirmation that the Xbox version of Baldur's Gate 3 is the playtesting stage, a leak last week supposedly revealed the game's release date. According to Larian's director of publishing Michael Douse, though, the leak was a fake. He was nice enough to confirm that it's still expected to launch on Xbox Series X|S before the end of the year though.
In response to Eurogamer's story on X, Larian's director of publishing Michael Douse said that the release date is 'news to me.' https://www.trueachievements.com/customimages/141631.jpg 'We’ll know the release date once we’re confident in the release version,' Douse said in a follow-up post. 'The plan is still before the end of the year. The key takeaway here should be that we want a really good version that Xbox fans deserve.
