Comedian Richard Gadd has turned his real life experience of being stalked into hit Netflix series Baby Reindeer.
Richard Gadd plays a fictionalised version of himself in Baby Reindeer Baby Reindeer creator Richard Gadd’s friend Sean Foley has said he has contacted police after being wrongly accused of being his abuser online. The Netflix drama is based on Richard’s real-life experience with a stalker, an ordeal he first dramatised in a one-man show of the same name. In the series, Richard is also groomed and raped by a TV comedy writer Darrien .
I saw someone very vulnerable, really.’ Richard added: ‘I never want Baby Reindeer to have a moral point for people to take away.
