Netflix has released a new video for its upcoming movie Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, showing NFL quarterback Jared Goff taking some lessons.
The new video sees the Detroit Lions quarterback talking about adjusting to the move from Los Angeles to Detroit. In order to acclimate better, he said he began taking notes from Foley. Throughout the video, clips from the upcoming Beverly Hills Cop sequel were also shown.“After his daughter’s life is threatened, she and Foley team up with a new partner and old pals Billy Rosewood and John Taggart to turn up the heat and uncover a conspiracy,” reads the movie’s synopsis.
The original Beverly Hills Cop was released in 1984 and starred Eddie Murphy as Axel Foley, a cop from Detroit who visits Beverly Hills, California, to solve the murder of his best friend. The film was a smash hit, earning more than $300 million at the box office and even earning an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Screenplay. The film also spawned two sequels, which were released in 1987 and 1994, but didn’t receive the praise or box office success of the original.
