The Austin- San Antonio corridor is one of the fastest growing regions in the country.

SAN ANTONIO - Currently, it’s home to 4.5 million people, and it’s expected to grow to between 6 to 7 million people by 2030.“I-35 is a straight shot, so it does get a little hectic in the evenings,” says commuter Raymond Salazar.

“More people move to Comal County from Bexar County than the opposite. I think it’s a destination of choice for Texans,” says Jonathon Packer, President and CEO of the New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce. “For higher wage jobs, more people leave New Braunfels everyday, whether it’s to San Antonio, Austin or someplace else,” says Packer.
