AT&T is planning to cut 3,400 jobs and will be shutting down 250 stores across the country, as the company deals with the economic fallout of Covid-19
Reuters that the store closures had been planned, but were accelerated by the pandemic and added that most store employees will be offered another job with AT&T.
Laid-off workers will receive severance pay and company-provided healthcare for the rest of the year, AT&T added.
