The list allows players to leave their team for at least three days and no more than seven days to deal with a death or serious illness in their family. The Astros have not announced a corresponding roster move to fill Stanek's spot, and there wasn't a new face in the clubhouse when it was open to reporters before Saturday's game against the Guardians.
