The gunman who killed Ashley Dale, 28, went shopping before depositing the money, a court hears.
A gunman who killed a council worker in her home deposited £1,000 cash into his bank account two days after the shooting, a court has heard.
The jury was told, following the shooting, Mr Peers booked a two-night stay in a twin room at the Mercure Hotel in St Helens just after 19:00 BST on 21 August. Det Sgt Graeme Sutton said phone evidence showed Mr Witham and Mr Peers travelled to Scotland later that day.
