Being a member of the LGBTQIA+ community generally means that you have to do a little bit more explaining about your sexuality or gender than other people do.
This burden may feel particularly acute for asexual and aromantic folks since a lack of representation, and therefore understanding, of what, exactly, the"A" in the initialism means can lead to a lot of confusion and misperceptions from others.So, I want to ask the asexual and aromantic members of the BuzzFeed Community what they wish people would stop saying to them about their identity.
