Arthur Gunn continues to thrill on AmericanIdol
Arthur Gunn got the judges fired up Sunday night on“I really didn’t expect that I’d be this far. I’m still trying to grasp it all,” the Kathmandu, Nepal-born singer and guitarist said during his piece-to-camera.Performing “one for the Rastafarian,” Gunn put his own spin on Bob Marley and the Wailers’ “Is this Love”. It was a bold choice but he nailed it.
Afterwards, Katy Perry praised the young singer and asked that he keep his eyes open and “let us in.” “You are probably one of our most unique contestants,” Lionel Richie explained. The “Hello” singer went further, calling him “pure light,” adding: “Your job is to come and anoint the world with your gift. We’ve had some very hard decisions to make, and you are probably the easiest decision to make.”
