Fire fighters handed over the scene to Merseyside Police
In the early hours of Monday, October 23, fire crews were called to the gated unit on Marvin Street. At the scene, at around 12.35pm, they found a Mercedes Sprinter van was set alight.
A joint investigation by Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service and Merseyside Police is now underway to establish the cause of the fire. CCTV and witness enquiries are being carried out, and anyone with any information is asked to contact police.
