Arsenal have acknowledged a lack of diversity in their women's team and say they will work to deliver 'greater diversity' as a 'priority'.
The Gunners posted their women's squad photo earlier this week and there was criticism with not a single Black or ethnic minority player in the squad. The club have now promised to deliver 'greater diversity' in their women's squad.
'Across all our teams, including our men's and women's academies, we're proud of our players from diverse backgrounds who have contributed to our history, success and culture. 'It's a priority for the club to continue to drive greater diversity and inclusion and create a sense of belonging for everyone connected to the club.
