Thomas Partey fitness update revealed ahead of Arsenal's trip to Leicester AFC
Arsenal have been boosted by the news that Thomas Partey is in line to make his return from injury against Leicester this weekend.
Jorginho has deputised for the 29-year-old and it was his effort that led to Emi Martinez’s own-goal in Saturday’sHis excellent form since arriving from Chelsea has eased the pressure on Partey’s return and provided Arsenal with adequate cover.The Italian could keep his place for the visit to the King Power Stadium even in the event of Partey’s return to the squad.
The Gunners also have a game in hand – at home to Everton next Wednesday – and can ill-afford a slip up against the Foxes this weekend.
