Arsenal fans have been left furious after Manchester City were awarded a first half penalty against Wolves - and Jamie Carragher is in agreement.
There looked to be little contact, but VAR deemed there to be enough to award a spot kick, which Erling Haaland converted from 12 yards to give City the lead.Should City win at the Etihad Stadium, they will close the gap to Premier League leaders Arsenal to one point - and crucially have a further game in hand.
"I don't know, it feels like the attacker just has the shot. It's certainly not going to be overturned. I don't think it's a penalty - I think it's very harsh. "I'm not having a go at the Manchester City players for appealing for it but it did feel like the referee initially hadn't given it. I think it was Phil Foden who really went at the referee and he gave it. I don't think it was a penalty."
