Police say three people were robbed by two armed men on the street outside a Manhattan jewelry store. An estimated $72,000 in items were stolen from the victims.
The robbery happened around 7:55 p.m. outside 71 W. 47th St. in the Midtown/Diamond District.
Police say two males and one female were robbed by the men on the street outside Avis Jewelry. An estimated $72,000 in jewelry and watches were stolen from the victims.It’s unclear if the victims and suspects were together at any point inside the jewelry store. It’s also unknown if the victims were shoppers or employees leaving work.
