The last thing most expected was for Eastern Michigan, of all teams, to run roughshod all over the Arizona State defense.

but it has been a particularly tough week for defensive coordinator Donnie Henderson, whose association with Edwards goes back 40 years. But Henderson finds himself focused on trying to solve the issues with his team which has been complicated by some injuries.

"It was a rough game. I went into the game thinking some of the things we needed to do, stop the run. No. 1. We didn't do that," Henderson said."And when you talk about adjustment, we had a system that we should have had one guy available on the back side and that guy didn't read it very well at times. Then other times they just blocked us and took it down the field. When you look at the overall picture of the game, my perspective was they were more physical.

Now ASU is tasked with trying to stop the Pac-12's top rushing offense , led by Tavion Thomas. The Utes are fourth in the conference in total offense . Utah also has a quarterback capable of running for a lot of yardage in Cameron Rising.
