Medina Valley ISD administrator compiled list of complaints — then hit ‘send’
An administrator at Medina Valley Independent School District this week emailed a letter to the school board and superintendent packed with complaints about the district’s management, a lengthy list that portrayed his boss as routinely acting in bad faith and trustees as unwilling or unable to stop it.
In a rambling, fiery letter, Ellison wrote that the district does not respond adequately enough to student bullying and assaults and accused the superintendent of removing procurement decisions from Ellison in order to cut ethical corners that favored a particular vendor. The fast-growing suburban MVISD has been well-regarded for years, though it has been grappling in recent weeks with widespread complaints about its athletic director.
Ellison said he planned to return to work Thursday. As of Wednesday evening he had received no communication from the superintendent or trustees, he said.
