Residents were evacuated from the Ballycastle premises
Detectives are appealing for information following a report of arson at residential premises in Co Antrim on Saturday.
Shortly after 4:45am this morning, it was reported that entry had been gained to a ground floor flat in the Boyd Court area of Ballycastle, through a front window. Fuel blocks were placed on a sofa inside and set alight. PSNI Detective Sergeant Colhoun added: "Colleagues from Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service attended, with all residents safely removed from the building and the fire extinguished.
